A gorgeous warm reddish brown mid-fire (cone 6) clay. Made from a blend of five New Zealand clays, this adds a rich depth of colour and a range of clay particle sizes for added greenware strength. This is a real favourite of ours, used for our own pottery during weekends (hence the name!). 

Best application: Throwing and handbuilding

• Bisque: 1000 degrees Celsius
• Glaze: 1150 - 1280 degrees Celsius
• Shrinkage: 6% wet to dry, 10% at 1150, 10% at 1180, 11% at 1220, 14% at 1280
• Water Absorption: 3% at 1150, <2% at 1180, <1% at 1220, <1% at 1280
