Intrinsically fine but has a small grog content to give good tooth for handbuilding techniques.
Perfect for most forming methods. The paper allows it to be joined wet, leather hard or dry.
Fired colour varies from red terra cotta to deep red brown with some fine natural grog. Over 1200 will become browner.
Suits all earthenware and midfire glazes.
Firing range: 1060-1200°C
