Feeney's Buff Raku Sandy

A beautiful groggy body for Handbuilding, sculpture and even throwing. It has a coarse sandy texture.
Very similar to BRT but without the large Trachyte spots.
Fires to a Cream/Pink Buff colour at Earternware through to Stoneware and a warm buff/brown mottle with small iron specks under reduction. 

Firing range: 1000-1280°C
Texture: Medium Coarse
% Shrinkage wet to dry: 4.0
% Shrinkage wet to fired: 4.3@1000°C 7.4@1300°C
Vitreous Temperature: >1320 �?°C Orton Cone 11
Fired colour (oxidation): Cream pink buff
Fired colour (reduction): Warm buff/brown mottle with small iron spots
